Bets in Craps

* Big 6 and Big 8: if you bet on the appearance of the 6 or the 8. The bet can be won if only one of those numbers appears before 7 occurs. If the 7 appears you lose. As a rule, the bets are paid in a 1:1 ratio.
*The field – the bets under the don’t pass line bar. At any moment you can make the FIELD bet: those are bets to the appearance of the numbers 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 12 (the appearance of any of those numbers). You lose the bet when the 5, 6, 7 or 8 appear. The payments of those bets are the following: if 12 appears – 3:1, two – 2:1, in all other situations – 1:1. *The come/ don’t come – those bets repeat the basic bets pass line/don’t pass line, you can bet on them before every throw, not only before the first one. The payment of these bets is 1:1.
*The place bet to win – Those are bets to the appearance of the 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 before the appearance of the 7. If the betted number appears before the 7, your bet wins. The bet on the 6 or 8 is paid in a 7:6 ratio, 5 or 9 – 7:5, 4 or 10 – 9:5. The most profitable bets are the bets on the 6 or 8, because the casino’s commission is the lowest – 1, 52%. You can also place bet to lose, which are done for the appearance of the 7 before the betted number. The bets on 6 and 8 are paid in a 4:5 ratio, the bets against 5 or 9 – 5:8, 4 and 10 – 5:11.
*The buy bets – bets made to the appearance of one of the given numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10) before the appearance of the 7. The given bet is only taken off in case of the appearance of the 7 before the selected number. The payments of this bet are the following: 6:5 when 6 or 8 appear, 3:2 when 5or 9 appear, and 2:1 when 4 or 10 appear.
*The lay bets – opposite to the buy bets, this means they are made to the appearance of the 7 before one of the following numbers: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10. The winner receives a price in a 5:6 ratio when he bets against 6 or 8, 2:3 against 5 or 9, and 1:2 against 4 or 10.
* Hard way bets – those bets are made to the appearance of strong numbers 4, 6, 8 or 10 before the appearance of the 7 (the bets are called hard way bets, because of the hard way these numbers conceived, 6= 3+3, 4= 2+2, 8=4+4, 10=5+5). The game continues until the hard number is received or the 7 appears. You can win this bet only the sum was received in the hard way. If your sum appears, but “the easy way” or the 7 appears, you lose.
* Proposition bets. As hard way bets, these bets are made only on one number, but they are played only one time. So, any seven – appearance of a 7 in the next throw. You win 4:1 if a 7 appears, but you lose in the rest of the cases.
* Any eleven – bets to the appearance of the number 11, payment 15:1.
*Any crap – bet on the appearance of any crap (2, 3 or 12). If that happens you receive a prize in a ratio 7:1.
*Horn bet – bet on the appearance of 2, 3, 11 or 12. The bets on 3 and 11 are paid in a ratio 15:1, and 2 and 12 30:1. Well, don’t be excited so fast, the casino’s commission in this case is 11, 11%. In some casinos this bet is paid in a ratio of 16:1.
